Biography
Marek Vašut is a Czech actor born on 5 May 1960 in Prague, then in Czechoslovakia. He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
Vašut has appeared in numerous international films, including Mission: Impossible (1996) as a drunken male IMF agent, Blade II (2002), xXx (2002), The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), Van Helsing (2004), Hannibal Rising (2007) and Solomon Kane (2009). His television credits include the series Slow Horses (2022). He has also worked extensively in Czech film, theatre and voice acting, including video game roles.
