Maria Bakalova is a Bulgarian actress. Born on 4 June 1996 in Burgas, she studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia.

She began her career in Bulgarian films including Transgression (2017) and The Father (2019). Bakalova rose to international prominence with her role as Tutar Sagdiyev in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020), for which she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Subsequent credits include Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) and the voice of Cosmo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). She portrayed Ivana Trump in The Apprentice (2024).
