Biography
Maria Fernanda Cândido is a Brazilian actress and former model. She was born on 21 May 1974 in Londrina, Paraná. She began her career as a model before making her acting debut in the play Anchieta, Nossa História.
She achieved national recognition in 1999 playing Paola in the telenovela Terra Nostra. Her film roles include Vicência Santos in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022), Maria Cristina de Almeida Guimarães in The Traitor (2019), and Elza in The Secret Agent (2025). She has received awards including a Troféu Imprensa and the Best Actress prize at the Gramado Festival for Dom (2003). She is married to Petrit Spahira and has two children.
