Biography
Maria Ferrari is a television writer and producer. She began her career in script coordination and writing on series including How I Met Your Mother (2005), for which she received writing credits on three episodes between 2006 and 2007, and Blue Collar TV.
Ferrari joined The Big Bang Theory (2007) in its third season as executive story editor and rose through the ranks to executive producer. She received writing credits on more than 100 episodes of the series and shared in three Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series. She also worked as supervising producer and writer on the spin-off Young Sheldon (2017).
In 2019 she signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. Her other credits include co-creating and executive producing United States of Al (2021) and serving as executive producer and showrunner on Call Me Kat (2021).
