Biography
Eric Kaplan is an American television writer and producer. Born on 10 September 1971 in Brooklyn, New York City, he was educated at Harvard University, Columbia University and the University of California, Berkeley.
His credits include work on The Simpsons (1989), Futurama (1999), Malcolm in the Middle (2000), Flight of the Conchords (2007) and The Big Bang Theory (2007), on which he served as a writer and co-executive producer throughout its run. He has also contributed to Young Sheldon (2017).
