Biography
Bill Odenkirk is an American television writer and producer. Born William Leonard Odenkirk on 13 October 1965 in Naperville, Illinois, he holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry from the University of Chicago and later moved into comedy writing.
He worked as a writer, producer and actor on the sketch series Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995–1998), alongside his brother Bob Odenkirk. He has written episodes of Futurama (from 2000), Disenchantment and The Simpsons (from 2004), and has also served as a producer on the latter two series.
Odenkirk has received four Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on animated programmes.
