Eric Horsted is an American television writer and producer. Born on 27 March 1965 in Houston, Texas, he is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

He has written for live-action series including Home Improvement, Coach, Reba and black-ish, and for animated series including Futurama, The Simpsons and Disenchantment. He has also worked as a producer on several of these programmes.

Horsted has received two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on Futurama.
