Biography
Tara Hernandez is an American television writer and producer. She began her career on The Big Bang Theory as an assistant to the executive producers in season 4 before becoming a staff writer from the middle of season 5.
She contributed to The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019) as writer, story editor and executive story editor. Hernandez later wrote for Young Sheldon (2017–2021) and co-created the limited series Mrs. Davis (2023) with Damon Lindelof, serving as showrunner.
She is a graduate of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. In 2025, CBS ordered a pilot for the multi-camera comedy Regency from her.
