Biography
María Isabel Díaz Lago is a Cuban actress. She trained at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana and made her film debut in Una novia para David (1985).
She moved to Spain in 1996 and has worked with directors including Pedro Almodóvar. She played Regina in his 2006 film Volver. On television, she is known for the role of Sole Núñez in Locked Up (2015–2019). Other credits include Apocalypto (2006), Che: Part One (2008) and Holy Camp! (2017).
