Biography
Marie Askehave is a Danish actress and singer. She was born on 21 November 1973 in Nibe and trained at the Danish National School of Theatre in Copenhagen, graduating in 2003.
She is known for her role as Rie Skovgaard in the first season of the television series The Killing (2007). Other television credits include Benedikte Nedergaard in Borgen (2010) and appearances in Midsomer Murders (2014), Those Who Kill (2011) and Dicte (2013). She has also worked in film and continues to appear in stage productions.
Askehave released the solo album Detour in 2007. She has been married to actor David Owe since 2006.
