Biography
Marilyn Norry is a Canadian actress. She was born on 4 October 1957 in Peterborough, Ontario, and graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre.
She began her career in Toronto and moved to Vancouver in 1987. Norry has performed on stage across Canada, including as Heidi Holland in The Heidi Chronicles and Hagar Shipley in the adaptation of The Stone Angel. Her film and television credits include Little Women (1994), Mission to Mars (2000), The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005), Jennifer's Body (2009), The BFG (2016), and guest roles in series such as Stargate SG-1, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural and Smallville.
Norry has also worked as a writer, dramaturg and teacher. In 2010 she received the Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award from the Union of British Columbia Performers.
