Biography
Mariola Fuentes is a Spanish actress. She was born María de los Dolores Fuentes Cuevas on 12 August 1970 in Marbella, Málaga.
She began to gain recognition with roles in 1990s films and television series, including Perdona bonita, pero Lucas me quería a mí (1997) and the TV series A las once en casa (1997–1998). She has appeared in several films directed by Pedro Almodóvar, playing Clementina in Live Flesh (1997), Rosa in Talk to Her (2002) and Edurne in Broken Embraces (2009). Other notable film credits include Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law (1998), Kiki: Love to Love (2016) and Someone Has to Die (2020).
Fuentes has also worked extensively in television and theatre. She received the Premio Unión de Actores award for best supporting actress in a film for her performance in Talk to Her and the Premio Málaga Cinema in 2019 for her career.
