Biography
Marion Clayton Anderson (also credited as Marian Clayton Anderson) was a Canadian actress, director and production manager. She was born on 9 February 1907 in Kimberley, British Columbia, and died on 31 August 1994 in Monterey, California.
Her film acting credits include an uncredited role in All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), Bella Hedley in The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1934), Mary Ellison in Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), and several other uncredited or supporting parts in the early 1930s. She later directed The Crowning Experience (1960) and worked as production supervisor on Freedom (1957). She also appeared on stage, including in a Los Angeles production of The Imaginary Invalid.
