Biography
Mark Elwes (1931–2021) was a British actor. He appeared in supporting roles in film and television from the 1960s onwards.
His credits include an uncredited part as Sir Donald's Secretary in Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Birkenshaw in Billion Dollar Brain (1967), a naval officer in The Avengers (1961), and the Customer in the Jeweller's Shop in A Fish Called Wanda (1988). He also featured in episodes of series such as Department S and Brideshead Revisited.
Elwes was born in Staines, Middlesex, and was married to Valerie Bland from 1963 until his death.
