Biography
Mark Kilian is a South African composer. Born in 1967, he moved to Los Angeles in 1994 after studying composition at the University of Natal and completing the film scoring programme at the University of Southern California. He began his career assisting composer Christopher Young before scoring features and television projects.
He is known for his scores for films including Tsotsi (2005), Rendition (2007), Traitor (2008), The Ward (2010), Pitch Perfect (2012), Eye in the Sky (2015), Replicas (2018) and Official Secrets (2019), several of them in collaboration with Paul Hepker. His television credits include Killer Women and President in Waiting.
