Biography
Mark Wolf is a British cinematographer and member of the British Society of Cinematographers. He began his career as a stills photographer before working as a wildlife and underwater cameraman for the BBC on series including The Blue Planet (2001) and Planet Earth (2006).
He later moved into drama and documentary, serving as director of photography on Time (2021), Help (2021), Des (2020) and Stonehouse (2023). In 2026 he shot the four-part series Lord of the Flies, directed by Marc Munden, employing infrared techniques, anamorphic lenses and extensive handheld work.
Wolf has received a Primetime Emmy Award and a BAFTA Television Award for factual photography, and was nominated for a further BAFTA for his work on Time.
