Biography
Martin Pensa is a Canadian film editor. He received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, shared with Jean-Marc Vallée (credited as John Mac McMurphy), for the 2013 biographical drama Dallas Buyers Club.
Pensa's other editing credits include Wild (2014), By the Sea (2015), November Criminals (2017), Tragedy Girls (2017), Togo (2019), Fresh (2022), Brothers (2024) and Holland (2025). He previously worked as first assistant editor and in visual effects on Vallée's Café de Flore (2011).
