Biography
Marvin Kupfer is an American television writer and producer. He contributed story, teleplay and writing credits to three episodes of Miami Vice between 1985 and 1987, including "Bought and Paid For", "Killshot" and "Duty and Honor". He also wrote a story for an episode of Kojak in 1977.
Kupfer wrote multiple episodes for Matlock (1987–1990) and Hunter (1989–1990), and contributed to series including The Streets of San Francisco, The Paper Chase, Leg Work, Crime Story, FBI: The Untold Stories and Silk Stalkings. He served as producer or supervising producer on Hunter, Leg Work and Crime Story. In 1974 he directed and produced the short film Wednesday.
