Biography

Marvin Miller (born Marvin Mueller) was an American actor and voice artist. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and began his career in radio there before moving to Chicago and then Hollywood.

He is known for voicing Robby the Robot in Forbidden Planet (1956) and its sequel The Invisible Boy (1957), and for his uncredited narration in Disney's Sleeping Beauty (1959). On television he played Michael Anthony in the series The Millionaire (1955–1960) and provided narration for Police Squad! (1982). Miller also appeared in films including Dead Reckoning (1946) and Major Dundee (1965), and voiced characters in numerous animated and live-action productions.

He received Grammy Awards for his recordings of Dr. Seuss stories and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his television work.
