Biography
Masaaki Okura, also credited as Masaaki Ôkura or 大倉正章, is a Japanese voice actor born on 5 November 1961 in Kumamoto. He has worked in anime, video games and dubbing since the 1980s and is affiliated with 81 Produce.
He is known for voicing Yamagata in Akira (1988) and Mamoru Uchida in Perfect Blue (1998). Other credits include Shohei Hattori in Witch Hunter Robin (2002) and roles in series such as Shaman King and Samurai Champloo.
Okura has a background in stage performance and was formerly a member of the theatre group Gekidan Kishi no Kumi.
