Biography
Matt Kiene is a television writer. He worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997) as a writer and story editor for the first season, co-writing the episodes "The Pack" and "Inca Mummy Girl" with Joe Reinkemeyer.
His other credits include episodes of L.A. Law (1986), Law & Order (1990), Space: Above and Beyond (1995), Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show (1997), Andromeda (2000) and Law & Order: UK (2009). He also served as a consultant and in production roles on Andromeda and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.
Kiene graduated from Georgetown University. A class with a Professor Giles there inspired the surname of the character Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
