Biography

Matt Stokoe is a British actor. He was born in Durham, England, on 13 January 1989 and trained at the National Youth Theatre before beginning his career in 2009.

Stokoe is known for his role as Alex in the E4 series Misfits (2012–2013). Other television credits include Gerard Eyre in The Village (2013–2014), Captain Marcheaux in The Musketeers (2016), James Read in Jamestown (2017–2019), Luke Aikens in Bodyguard (2018), and Gawain in Cursed (2020). Film roles include appearances in The Dyatlov Pass Incident (2013), Outlaw King (2018) and Lord of Misrule (2023). He has also written and produced the film Rose (2020). Stokoe is in a relationship with actress Sophie Rundle.
