Biography
Matthew Cassel is an American film and television editor and former child actor. He appeared as Tony Longhetti in John Cassavetes' A Woman Under the Influence (1974).
Cassel began his editing career in the 1990s as an assistant editor on films including Sniper (1993), Street Fighter (1994) and Judge Dredd (1995). He later worked as first assistant editor on Shallow Hal (2001) and The Pacifier (2005), and as editor on Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), Baggage Claim (2013) and Ambush (2023). On television he has served as assistant editor and editor on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
