Biography
Matthew G. Taylor is a Canadian actor. He is best known for playing Nemesis in the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse. He has also appeared in Cinderella Man (2005) as Primo Carnera, Pacific Rim (2013) as a member of the Saltchuck Crew, Immortals (2011) as Mondragon, and Gothika (2003) as Turlington, as well as in television series including See (2019) as Maddox and The Umbrella Academy (2019) as Guardian #2.
Taylor grew up in a Toronto suburb and graduated from college in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1994. Before entering the film and television industry in 1996, he worked as a police officer. He has also studied martial arts for many years.
