Biography
Matthew Margeson is an American composer of film, television and video game scores. He was born on 9 June 1980 in Brick Township, New Jersey, and trained at Berklee College of Music.
He is a member of Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions and has frequently collaborated with composer Henry Jackman. Margeson received his first main composer credits in 2010. He co-composed the score for Kick-Ass 2 (2013) with Jackman and went on to score Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Eddie the Eagle (2016), Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (2016), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), Truth or Dare (2018) and Rocketman (2019), among other films.
