Biography
Maurice Schutz (born Paul Maurice Schutzenberger) was a French film actor. He was born on 4 August 1866 in Paris and died on 22 March 1955 in Clichy-la-Garenne.
He began his career on the Parisian stage before appearing in films from 1918 onwards. Schutz is known for roles in The Passion of Joan of Arc (1928) as Nicolas Loyseleur, Napoleon (1927) as Pasquale Paoli, Vampyr (1932) as the Lord of the Manor, It Happened at the Inn (1943) as Goupi-L'Empereur and Children of Paradise (1945).
