Biography
Adrien Mérigeau, also credited as Maya Merigeau, is a French production designer, art director and director in animation.
Mérigeau studied animation at the École des Métiers du Cinéma d'Animation in Angoulême and has worked at Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny, Ireland, since 2004. Credits include background designer on The Secret of Kells (2009) and art director and production designer on Song of the Sea (2014).
Mérigeau directed the short films Old Fangs (2009) and Genius Loci (2020), the latter of which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Short Film.
