Biography
Melissa Lawson Cheung is a film and television editor. She trained at the Academy of Art University and began her career as a first assistant editor on features including Red Tails (2012) and Battleship (2012).
She later edited independent films such as Gutshot Straight (2014), Last Man Club (2016) and Mile 22 (2018). In television, her credits include episodes of Outlander (2016–2017), Mr. Robot (2019) and Secret Invasion (2023). She is an editor on the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again (2025).
Lawson Cheung was interviewed on the Art of the Cut podcast in 2020 about her work on Outlander and Mr. Robot.
