Biography
Melora Hardin is an American actress and singer. Born on 29 June 1967 in Houston, Texas, she is the daughter of actor Jerry Hardin and attended Sarah Lawrence College.
Hardin began acting as a child and is known for her recurring role as Jan Levinson in the series The Office (2005–2013). Other television credits include Trudy Monk in Monk (2004–2009) and Tammy Cashman in Transparent (2014–2019), for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She starred as Jacqueline Carlyle in The Bold Type (2017–2021). Film roles include appearances in 17 Again (2009) and 27 Dresses (2008).
She is married to actor Gildart Jackson.
