Biography
Merideth Boswell is an American set decorator and production designer. She began her career in the early 1990s as a set decorator on films including Natural Born Killers (1994), Apollo 13 (1995) and That Thing You Do! (1996). She later transitioned to production design, with credits including The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), In the Electric Mist (2009) and The Homesman (2014).
Boswell was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in ceramics from the University of Arkansas. She received Academy Award nominations for Best Art Direction for her set decoration work on Apollo 13 (1995) and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). She has frequently collaborated with director Tommy Lee Jones.
