Biography
Mia Hansen-Løve is a French film director and screenwriter. Born on 5 February 1981 in Paris, she began her career as an actress in films directed by Olivier Assayas before turning to directing with short films in the early 2000s. She studied German and philosophy and contributed to the film magazine Cahiers du Cinéma.
Her feature debut, All Is Forgiven (2007), won the Louis Delluc Prize for Best First Film. Subsequent films include Father of My Children (2009), which received the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, Goodbye First Love (2011), Eden (2014), Things to Come (2016), for which she won the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival, Maya (2018), Bergman Island (2021) and One Fine Morning (2022), which she also wrote.
