Biography
Michael Beattie is a Canadian actor born in Toronto. He has worked in film, television, voice acting and video games for over 25 years.
Beattie is known for voice roles in Illumination animated features, including the 2nd Marketing Guy in The Lorax (2012), VNC Announcer and Walter Jr. in Minions (2015), Tattoo in The Secret Life of Pets (2016), and further parts in Despicable Me 3 (2017), The Grinch (2018) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022). His live-action credits include Todd in Guy Ritchie’s Swept Away (2002) and the Manager in Star (2001). He has also voiced characters in television series and games such as Mordin Solus in Mass Effect 2 (2010).
