Biography
Michael Bender (1946–1997) was an American producer and entertainment attorney. He formed the production company Pecos Productions with writers Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson, and Beetlejuice (1988) was their first project. He is credited as a producer on the Tim Burton-directed film, alongside Wilson and Richard Hashimoto.
Bender also served as a consultant on the animated television series Beetlejuice (1989–1991). He was born in Jefferson County, Texas, and died in Encino, California.
