Biography
Michael Bhim is a British screenwriter and playwright. Born in North West London, he began his career writing for the stage, with productions at theatres including the Tricycle, Soho, Royal Court and Almeida. His play Distant Violence was nominated for the Meyer Whitworth Award and he won the Alfred Fagon Award. He has also written for BBC Radio and directed the short film Above (2015).
Bhim has written episodes of several television series, including All American (2018–2020), Impulse (2018), Secret Invasion (2023), Snowpiercer (2024) and Sugar (2026). He has additionally worked as a producer on Sugar, Snowpiercer and Secret Invasion.
