Biography
Michael Epp is a German-British actor born on 19 September 1983 in Konstanz, Germany. The son of a German father and a British mother, he was raised bilingually and holds both German and British citizenship. He grew up in Allensbach, Baden-Württemberg.
After training at the HB Studio of Acting in New York from 2005 to 2007, Epp lived and worked in the city for seven years, primarily in theatre at smaller venues along with short films and minor television roles. He began appearing regularly in German-language film and television productions from 2012 while also taking on English-language and international projects.
His credits include The Beekeeper (2024) as Pettis, The Brutalist (2024) as Jim Simpson, Spencer (2021) as Lance Corporal Jacobs, and Secret Invasion (2023) as Ruben Steiner. He trained initially after a journalistic internship and a business school graduation in Konstanz.
