Biography
Michael Gracey is an Australian filmmaker. He was born on 6 January 1976 in Melbourne, Victoria.
Gracey began his career in visual effects, working at the animation studio Animal Logic from 1994 to 1996. He later directed commercials and music videos before making his feature directorial debut with The Greatest Showman (2017).
He directed, wrote and produced the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man (2024). His other credits include directing the documentary P!nk: All I Know So Far (2021) and serving as executive producer on Rocketman (2019).
