Biography

Michael Jablow is an American film editor. He began his career in the late 1970s as an assistant editor on films including Hair (1979) and Brubaker (1980), after studying at New York University, Goddard College and the School of Visual Arts. He became a full editor with Modern Problems (1981) and has since worked on more than thirty feature films.

His credits include Throw Momma from the Train (1987), The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988), The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), Muppet Treasure Island (1996), The Contender (2000), The Last Castle (2001), Old School (2003), She's the Man (2006) and The Game Plan (2007). Jablow has been nominated for American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. He has served as head of the editing discipline at the American Film Institute and as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California.
