Biography
Michael McGrady is an American actor. He was born on 30 March 1960 in Federal Way, Washington, and attended Federal Way High School and the University of Washington, where he studied Business Administration. He had planned a career in law before entering acting after a scholarship contest and moving to California.
McGrady has worked in film and television since the early 1980s. He is known for his role as Detective Daniel "Sal" Salinger in the series Southland (2009–2011). He has also appeared in recurring or guest roles in series including Ray Donovan, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Scorpion, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The X-Files, Bones and Chicago P.D., as well as films such as The Thin Red Line (1998) and Hocus Pocus (1993).
