Biography
Michael Paré is an American actor born on 9 October 1958 in Brooklyn, New York City. He trained as a chef at the Culinary Institute of America before beginning his acting career. His first starring role was as Tony Villicana in the television series The Greatest American Hero (1981).
Paré is known for his film roles as Eddie Wilson in Eddie and the Cruisers (1983) and its 1989 sequel, Tom Cody in Streets of Fire (1984), and David Herdeg in The Philadelphia Experiment (1984). He appeared as Adult Trip Fontaine in The Virgin Suicides (1999) and as Frank McGowan in Village of the Damned (1995). On television he starred as Joey La Fiamma in Houston Knights (1987–1988).
