Biography
Michael Simpson, also known as Mike Simpson or E.Z. Mike, is an American record producer and composer. He forms one half of the Los Angeles-based production duo the Dust Brothers with John King.
The pair produced the Beastie Boys' Paul's Boutique (1989) and Beck's Odelay (1996). Simpson composed the score for Fight Club (1999) with the Dust Brothers and has solo composer credits on Road Trip (2000), Saving Silverman (2001), Freddy Got Fingered (2001), Stick It (2006) and The Power of Few (2013).
He won a Grammy Award for songwriting and production on Santana's Supernatural (1999). He has also provided music for the Comedy Central series Tosh.0 (2011–2014).
