Biography
Michael Vartan is a French-American actor. He was born on 27 November 1968 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
Vartan is best known for portraying CIA agent Michael Vaughn in the ABC series Alias (2001–2006). His other television roles include appearances in Friends (1997), Ally McBeal (2000), Hawthorne and Bates Motel. Film credits include Never Been Kissed (1999), One Hour Photo (2002), Monster-in-Law (2005) and Colombiana (2011). He has also appeared in The Mists of Avalon (2001) as Lancelot.
Vartan began his career in French and Italian films in the early 1990s. He moved to the United States as a teenager and has worked primarily in American productions since then.
