Biography
Michael Zegen is an American actor. He attended Ridgewood High School in New Jersey and graduated from Skidmore College in 2001.
Zegen is known for his television roles as Damien Keefe in Rescue Me (2004–2011), Bugsy Siegel in Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014) and Joel Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023). His film credits include Benji in Frances Ha (2013), Maurizio in Brooklyn (2015) and Alberto Falcone in The Penguin (2024). He created the role of Liam in the off-Broadway production of Bad Jews and made his Broadway debut in A View from the Bridge (2015). He received Screen Actors Guild Awards for ensemble performance in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
