Biography
Micheal Ward is a British actor and model. Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, he began his career in modelling, winning the Face of JD Sports competition, and appeared in music videos before moving into acting.
His screen credits include the films Blue Story (2019), The Old Guard (2020), Empire of Light (2022), The Beautiful Game (2024) and Eddington (2025), in which he played Michael Cooke. On television he has appeared in The A List (2018) and as Jamie in Top Boy (2019–2022). He also featured in Steve McQueen’s Small Axe: Lovers Rock (2020). Ward received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2020 and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Empire of Light.
