Biography
Michèle Laliberté is a Canadian production designer and art director. She trained in scenography at the National Theatre School of Canada and in architecture at the Université de Montréal. Based in Montreal, she has worked in the film art department for more than 25 years.
She has served as production designer on Scream VI (2023), Unabomber (2026), Clouds (2020), Spinning Gold (2023) and Stonewall (2015). Earlier credits include supervising art director or art director on Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023), the X-Men films Days of Future Past (2014), Apocalypse (2016) and Dark Phoenix (2019), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), Night at the Museum (2006) and The Day After Tomorrow (2004). She is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada and has been a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2019.
