Biography
Michele Yu is a production designer who frequently collaborates with Cindy Chao. The pair began working together as undergraduates at UC San Diego and have continued as a team for more than fifteen years on feature films and television series.
Her film credits include production design on Much Ado About Nothing (2012), In Your Eyes (2014), V/H/S: Viral (2014), Grandma (2015), Miss Stevens (2016) and Deidra & Laney Rob a Train (2017). Television work encompasses A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019–2023), for which she and Chao received Primetime Emmy nominations, American Born Chinese (2023) and Wonder Man (2026).
