Biography
Michelle Ang is a New Zealand actress, director and producer. Born on 17 October 1983 in Christchurch, she studied at Victoria University of Wellington, completing a double degree in commerce and science.
She began her career in the late 1990s with roles in the New Zealand series The Tribe and Young Entertainers. Ang is known for playing Lori Lee in the Australian soap opera Neighbours (2002–2004), Akemi in the final episodes of Xena: Warrior Princess (2001), Alex in Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 (2015–2016), and voicing Omega in Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021–2024).
Her film work includes My Wedding and Other Secrets (2011), for which she won Best Actress at the New Zealand Film and Television Awards. She has also received a Primetime Emmy nomination and a Logie Award nomination.
