Biography
Mikhail Gorevoy is a Russian actor, occasionally credited as Michael Gor in English-language productions. He graduated with honours from the Moscow Art Theater School in 1987 and began his career in theatre at the Sovremennik Theatre.
He spent time in the United States from 1992, teaching the Stanislavski method, before returning to Russia in 1996 and founding his own theatre, the Factory of Theatrical Events. Gorevoy is known internationally for playing Vlad (Vladimir Popov) in the James Bond film Die Another Day (2002). Other notable roles include Ivan Schischkin in Bridge of Spies (2015), Livitin in The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017) and its sequel, and Admiral Dmitri Durov in Hunter Killer (2018). He has also appeared in Russian films and series such as Why Don't You Just Die! (2018) and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018).
Gorevoy has one son, Dmitriy, who is also an actor.
