Biography
Mildred Lewis was a producer and writer. She frequently collaborated with her husband, producer Edward Lewis, on films and screenplays from the late 1940s onwards.
Her credits include executive producer on Harold and Maude (1971), producer and co-writer on Brothers (1977), and producer on Missing (1982). The latter earned the Lewises a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Picture. She also wrote the screenplay for The Lovable Cheat (1949) with her husband.
Lewis died on 7 April 2019 in Los Angeles.
