Biography
Milena Govich is an American actress and director. Born on 29 October 1976 in Norman, Oklahoma, she trained at the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating as valedictorian with degrees in performance and pre-medical studies, and a minor in dance and violin. She began her career on stage, appearing in the 2000 Broadway revival of Cabaret.
Govich first gained attention for television roles including ADA Jessica Rossi in Conviction (2006) and Detective Nina Cassady, the first female detective in the main cast of Law & Order (2006–2007). She has also appeared in Rescue Me, Finding Carter and The Mentalist. As a director, she has helmed episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, Law & Order and Law & Order: Organized Crime.
