Biography
Milton Carruth (1899–1972) was an American film editor who worked primarily at Universal Studios. His career as an editor ran from 1929 to 1966. He is credited as editor on more than 120 films.
Among his credits are All Quiet on the Western Front (1930), Dracula (1931), The Mummy (1932), Shadow of a Doubt (1943), Pillow Talk (1959) and Imitation of Life (1959). In 1937 and 1938 he directed seven films before returning to editing. He was a member of the American Cinema Editors.
